How to request an appointment
We use an online request system for most routine and non-urgent enquiries.
This is the quickest way for us to understand your needs and ensure you are seen by the most appropriate clinician.
- Requests are reviewed within 2 working days
- We will contact you by text, email or phone
- You may receive:
- Advice
- A booking link
- An appointment date
Urgent problems (same day)
For urgent medical issues that cannot safely wait, please:

Urgent appointments are for new or worsening problems only, not:
- Ongoing or long-term issues
- Medication reviews
- Administrative queries

During busy times, a call-back system is available to hold your place in the queue
Types of appointments
We offer appointments with a range of healthcare professionals, including:
- GPs
- Nurse Practitioners / ANPs
- Practice Nurses
- Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians
- Mental Health Practitioners
- Social Prescribers
- Care Coordinators
Appointments may be:
- Face-to-face
- Telephone
- Online or text-based (where appropriate)
Routine and pre-bookable appointments
- Some appointments can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance
- Follow-up appointments can be arranged if requested by a clinician
- Patients will be directed to the most appropriate clinician based on need
What happens after your request
Once we receive your request:
- It is reviewed by our reception team
- You will be contacted within 2 working days
- You may be:
- Given advice
- Sent a booking link
- Allocated an appointment
⚠️ Important:
If we send you an appointment, please confirm within 2 days that you wish to keep the appointment or it may be cancelled
If you cannot attend
Please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your appointment to another patient.
