Travel Advice

Are you travelling abroad?

If you are travelling outside of the UK you may require travel vaccination to protect you against serious disease that are found in other parts of the world.

Click on these links to see what vaccinations are recommended for the country you will be visiting:

www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk
www.nathnac.org
www.fco.gov.uk/travel

Generally, if you are travelling to countries within Northern and Central Europe, North America, Australia or New Zealand it is unlikely you will need any vaccinations.

If you are travelling outside of these areas please contact the surgery to arrange a travel Telephone appointment.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU ALLOW AT LEAST EIGHT WEEKS BEFORE YOU TRAVEL – some vaccinations need to be administered at least 4 weeks before travel and some may require a course of vaccinations over 3 months, it is vital you submit your Travel Assessment Form in plenty of time.
