Children who are up to date with the NHS childhood immunisation schedule are well protected and do not need to take any further action at this time.

The only exception is if your child:

· Attended Club Chemistry between 5 and 7 March, and/or

· Had close contact with University of Kent students during this period

· Only if your child falls into one of these groups and you have concerns, please contact UKHSA – telephone 0344 225 3861, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, if they have no symptoms but are concerned, and have been in contact with a confirmed case or have a general enquiry.

We are following guidance from the NHS and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) closely. If any further guidance changes, we will contact the patients who are affected directly.
